Breaking into the industry as a grip, Jaime worked as a production assistant in independent feature films like The Condemned, and as coordinator with production designers in Puerto Rico for clients like Heineken, Kraft, and Walgreens.


After years in the industry, he pursued his passion for cinematography and began working as an Assistant Cameraman, Camera Operator and then Director of Photography.  His credits include short films, feature films, documentaries, and TVC’s in Chile, China, Korea, Indonesia, Laos, Mexico, Nepal, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and the United States. Additionally, he has written and directed short films in Asia and Puerto Rico. In 2014, Jaime completed his MFA in Cinematography at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.


Recently, Jaime completed a feature film titled “Pecado Original”, A&E/Lifetime’s Digital Platform Fall Into Me, and the documentary Immigration Today for Al-Jazeera among others.
